Cum aleg Transformatorul - Convertorul de Curent 220V la 110V potrivit ?

Convertoarele de tensiune ( transformatoare curent ) sunt dispozitive electrice care schimba tensiunea de la 230V pana la 110V, voltaj care este folosit în SUA. Convertorul de la 220V la 110V schimbă numai tensiunea frecvența rămânand aceeași 50Hz. Frecvență de 60 Hz utilizată de aparatele electrice din SUA nu poate fi modificata decat de convertoare cu sinusoida pura care costa foarte mult. Aparatele care au propria lor alimentare ( DVD playere, console jocuri, amplificatoare, și alte dispozitive electronice ) nu sunt afectate de acest lucru. Unele dispozitive care utilizează curent alternativ ( ferăstraie , polizoare , masini de gaurit), au o ușoară scădere a performanței și o mică creștere în căldură emisă. Cu toate acestea în practică aceste fenomene sunt atât de mici încât acestea sunt neobservate de către utilizator.

Cum alegem un convertor de tensiune potrivit ?

Cel mai important parametru este puterea electrică consumata a dispozitivului, care este data în manual sau direct pe aparat. Cifrele scrise pe cutie sunt de foarte multe ori exagerate, in cele mai multe cazuri consumul real este mai mare decat cel din manual.

Un exemplu de calcul: în cazul în care pe eticheta scrie: " 12A 110V " puterea de intrare necesară este 110 x 12 = 1320W . Este recomandabil sa alegeți un convertor de tensiune cu o rezervă de putere suficientă pentru a preveni supraîncălzirea excesivă a aparatului si acoperitoare necesarului de putere la pornire (cand consumul este maxim). Alege un convertor de tensiune cu puterea de 1,5 ori mai mare decât valoarea calculată . În cazul nostru ar trebui să alegeți un convertor de curent de 2000W. Pentru dispozitive audio ( amplificatoare de chitara , etc ) alegeți puterea de 2 ori mai mare decât consumul de curent al dispozitivului pentru a evita denaturari nedorite la performanțe de vârf.

Încărcătoare scule de mână ( Makita ) au nevoie de un convertor de minim 300W, aspiratorul iRoomba are nevoie de un convertor de 100W, luminile pentru pom de Crăciun (170 buc) au nevoie de un transformator de 75W, KitcheAid are nevoie de 500W, un notebook are nevoie de un convertor de 200W, un Playstation 3 și Xbox necesita un convertor de 300W -750W, un Nintendo are nevoie de un convertor de 300W, o imprimanta laser are nevoie de un convertor de 500W-1000W, ferăstraiele unghiulare au nevoie de un convertor de minim 2000W, un aparat de aer conditionat convertoare de 2000W - 3000W, o banda de alergare are nevoie de un convertor de 3000W și o casă familială are nevoie de un convertor de 4000W.

Convertorul de tensiune nu este indicat la aparate ieftine cu consum mare, cum ar fi uscătoare de păr, ceainice electrice, fiare de călcat, placi de par, etc Costul convertorului de tensiune depășește prețul a aparatului de mai multe ori.
